On February 9th, Xavier Salvador found a specimen of Pteropode (a group of heterobranchs living in the water column) near the surface of the Cala de Sa Tuna.

It is the species Hyalocylis striata, which receives this name so that the shell has horizontal bands.
This observation represents the first sighting for the Western Mediterranean and the peninsular coasts.

Subsequently, on February 13th, 3 more specimens of this species were found. If you go diving in places with currents and separate from the coast, look closely at the area near the surface, especially if you see that there is zooplankton.
